<div class="IPBDescription">Good Fing Riddance</div> Since 2.0 was coming out, I decided to have a lil all nite bash of 1.04 fun.
To start, I decided to play on my not-so-favorite server, but the one I know the most people in. (gibgames) Hoping for a fun overall last 1.04 experience, I signed up with the marines. Only to be forced into the comm when the newb in there previously left. Only to have everyone get to reactor room, find that the game had already gone to the point that aliens had 3 hives. Only to get called a fing nub comm for turret farming when they had 3 hives. Blaming me for the loss.
OK, just fine, it's only a game.
Right.
Next game, tanith. The marines take cargo. I lerk down three marines. I'm screaming, GET TO CARGO NOW, and no one comes. I wait. 3 minutes. No one comes. Wait, what's that? Oh that's 5 marines chomping on my **** with JP HMGs.
Game over.
OK, just fine, it's only a game.
Next game, Caged. I hate that map. Hate. Me and a friend spectate. The game restarts FOUR TIMES due to stupid newbies going gorge or comming (gibgames isn't afraid to F4...) and finally, the fourth game turns out to be an HOUR long. Finally, after that was over, ECLIPSE came up. Eclipse! My favorite map. I was looking forward to this.
Going alien, I decided to gorge. But noooooooo since my voice comm was binded to ALT, I accidently ALT TABBED! I had to restart NS, and couldn't go gorge. Now, I'm saying, fine, it's alright, it'll still be a good game.

Two hackers come in. They mock us. Make racist jokes. Make an **** out of themselves. Hack. Here's another reason why I hate gibgames -- no admins. Anyways, they stay for the entirity of eclipse, then proceded to crash the server. Whee. Ok, fine, one last game of eclipse was going on, but I was just sick and tired of it, and left soon after.
Good riddance 1.04. With VAC, hackers will be less common, and those stupid nubs who go gorge won't be a big problem anymore. God. Where is my 2.0?

Good folks there, at least the |TE| members... As is prevelant on public servers, the random comers are a grab-bag of types. But the time's I've played there were all good.
Too bad they've ben 2.0 for a while now... so i couldn't have a final run on it...
