<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'><b>The Offical Natural Selection Pixel Art Competition</b></span>

<b>Starting date:</b> NOW!
<b>End date:</b> September 15th

<b>Colour Limitations:</b> 256 Gif Palette. No JPG.
<b>Maximum Width:</b> 400
<b>Maximum Height:</b> 400
<b>File size limitation:</b> None. (Animations viable)
<b>Number of submissions:</b> 5 or less.
<b>Theme:</b> None, use your imagination!

<b>Other limitations:</b>
- Pixel by pixel only. No photoshop brushes, effects or otherwise.
- Works not be started before August 1st (Scout's honour)
- Works must be submitted before, on or ONE DAY AFTER the September 15th deadline (Submit it on the 14th, this is just to make sure everyone submits before the deadline due to global timezones)
- No copying or stealing other people's work, it has to be your own.
- No resizing images and claiming it to be pixel art (you can use it for a referance though)

Remember this competition is open to <b>EVERYBODY</b>, just so long as you make your submission(s) before the closing date.

    Posted this in another thread.. Doesn't count for the competition though, I've used some Photoshop effects and non-pixel features. But I designed the ground and sprites pixel-by-pixel.

    <b>Info: </b>Keeping the first entry simple. Based upon <a href='http://www.the-uzi.org/~infinitum/otictyi.jpeg' target='_blank'>THIS</a> picture, I also have the same shirt on order... so I felt like doing this. Oh well, that's the great thing about pixel art. Simple things are always the hardest to pull off..... That said, I'm not too sure if I did it properly... oh well... it wasn't the 'main event' as they say.

    Seriously, I doubt my image can be 256 colours... That's too limited for me... Here is my final attempt (around 12 hours work). This is about my fourth time, to my knowledge I have attempted to make pixel art. Make comments if you like, but it's doubtful it will change because it's a lot of work to change a small part.

    hehe, i know I am hosting off the NS boards, but i am currently not at home with no ftp access and this is at the NS boards after all. I am de this house some time ago with aspirations to make it better, but it never got that far. soon perhaps i will make it better.

    it is a type -gif pallet, hence any color you place on it.

    Just an idea... Then when it comes to judging you (or Fam) could stick the grades/total/positions underneath the entrant/image.
