NS_VEIL . amazing map imo . similar in style to eclipse which i like and its got a nice layout to it. It has some nice vent systems and good corridor system. Overall a lovely map and i think one of the biggies for matches in the future. wp @ creator

The creator of NS_veil, KungFuSquirrel, also created Eclipse. 'Tis the reason they're both similar; as far as I know, they're different sections of the same station, making Veil the "sequel" to Eclipse.

Kudos to KungFuSquirrel (sp?) for the incredible work he has done on the new/old improved maps - they are so much fun to play on, and get lost in <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
I must say KFS is a great mapper for NS. Eclipse is just genious, seriously. Veil i've only played a few matches/scrims on but i like the map. You're doin a great job KFS wish you were around more in the beta tho =(
Before I forget, you did some great changes to ns_nothing...most notably taking/moving the res nodes out/around a lil bit and the vent change to cargo hive (Entrance and exit) were great changes.
yeh, origin is basic vent system, but just complicated walls to get into each vent. a map with a maze of vents would be sweet. may even give jetpacks a use .....

No. Oh god, no. NO. You will never see another wall_lab style map from me again. Veil exists only as a sequel to Eclipse, but outside the planned Eclipse trilogy... The other two will be fully different settings and styles. But still interconnected in some ways.
But for now... Breather... Phew. Time to sit back and... I know origin is pretty vent heavy, but not on the scale of nancy.
We need another map to fit the role of "Ive played ns religilously for 6 months but i still dont know the vent system"
