"reliable Channel Overflowed"

Crash cause of error, see thread for inf
Ok, I downloaded NS v2.0 from Fileplanet, Installed it with no problem over DoD v1.0, And fired up the game, i have console running when i connect cause im a dork, and i noticed i didnt load about 30 sprites, then when i get ingame, console floods with "Unknown Command:ex_maxerrordistance" This usually lends itself to a disconnect due to "reliable channel overflowed" error

I went to some server Bb's and found out that the disconnect error is cause there is too much text being sent to my computer in console. However, noone seems to have encountered it for any other reason than long MOTD's. Mine is cause of an error, which again, noone seems to have.

when im ingame im uber laggy, and depending on the chat traffic i can stay in for varying lengths of time, however i choose not to play cause its buggy, and i can sometimes be invincible, not to mention somehow spawning with whatever weapon i had before i died...

I thoguht maybe my install was buggy somehow, and i downloaded from fileplanet, fileshap, filefront and 3 or 4 others... but no dice...

Im very frustrated adn any help would be greatly appreciated

I downloaded NS 2.0 too and got the same error. I am long time DOD veteran but I wanted to try NS so I downloaded it and installed it with DOD retail. But I load a game up and after about a minute I get disconnected and it give me that Reliable Channel Overflowed thing. Anyone help? Also a quick note, if it is a Reliable Channel, Why did it Overflow?

See the bug forum - DOD builds seem to have some random issues for some people with NS. We're looking into it.

As for your tech support, you get what you pay for. We don't just sit here at everyone's beck and call.
