Why would you want to slow your res flow? Anyway, after hitting 100 res all the extra res will go to other, and if you use that that res the team's res flow will be slower than before you used it

Where did you get that information?
Everything I heard from PTs and Vets during beta pointed towards NO overflow.
However, even without overflow, slowing down res makes no sense. What does that gain you?
For pete's sake, if you are constantly at 100 res, you are doing something WRONG. WRONG WRONG WRONG. (Or you have basically won and are performing cleanup).
If you don't want to be an Ono, just Gorge for a few minutes. It never hurts to spam a few more OCs.
Awww. No more overflow? that explains why I haven't once seen a res surge yet after evolving...
Hmmm... that means in a 1 vs 2 player game, marines can collect unlimited res but the kharra team can only have up to 100... there's a strategy in there somewhere just waiting to be discovered... hmmmm.... let me think for a minute... build res rapidly until there are no more free nodes anywhere on the map, then send your team as a group to kill the new hive the gorge is still building up... hmmmm... yeah... kill the gorge's new structures before they're fully built... He'll still be close to maxed out when he dies, while marines have 150 res and climbing... hmmmm... yeah... that just might work...
Or do marines have a simmilar max res, based on the number of players playing?
Hrm. My tests prove inconclusive. I'd need more people to do it properly. Regardless, if it's on or off, you're probably not helping the team sitting on that 100 res.
That's what I thought, res wasted once everyone hits 100. Last game I attended, the gorge/people kept saying anyone got res please do something, but as my phones were full of noise/static (yes I bought new ones) I couldn't be sure what they were saying, and shortly thereafter the game was over (aliens won) so never found out what was being said/asked. Is there a way to pass res to other players or do you think they were asking peeps to gorge and build something??

Remember, in 2.0 gorges get res no faster than any other alien (in fact, they usually get res *slower*, but I'll get to that in a bit). Also, everyone gets 25 res to start with.
The best way of spending that 25 res is to cap a resource tower (and then suicide, if you want to save the res cost to evolve back to skulk). Either that, or get yourself to a really important location and drop a sensory chamber before the marines arrive (such as Atmospheric Processing, on ns_bast. I won't tell you exactly where to drop it, in the interests of keeping it a good hiding place ).
Basically, in 2.0 there isn't really much reason to have a fixed gorge, and you generally get more resources as a skulk (since you get resources from kills). There's no point in saving for hives, now; instead go out and kill stuff until you've accumulated 45 res. Then gorge and hive.
Anyway, 2.0 is far more about territory\res control. Spend the initial 25 resource points towards this end, either by getting res itself or by putting down sensory chambers in key locations. A single sensory chamber can secure an area just as effectively as Walls of Lame used to.
i totally agree skorpion 2.0 is now all about the res. For example this game I just played, I was aliens and I ordered everyone to go gorge, then 2 go up and put SC's in key locations and the rest to build RT. Of course within 3 mins the active res nodes were 8v1 in our favor cause those rines decided to tech up instead of gettin res nodes... RT's should be first priority.
Im actually not too sure about the overflow.. I'll try to do some tests on it later

I'll double check it, but I believe very strongly that it's actually returned.

thats at least the way i understand it.
