What Is The Background For This?

<div class="IPBDescription">Bilebomb.....</div> Ok, having played 2.0 for several days I have decided that it is pretty balanced (i.e, an onos seems invincible when i'm marines, but a ha train seem invincible when i'm onos).

But I would just like to know, what is the background behind the fact that bilebomb doesn't damage marines, only structures?

The reply I got from roobs was:

"Because bile is green and.... uh... marines are green resistant" <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

But seriously, what possible real-life explaination could there be for something that can destroy a structure not to damage a person?

And please don't say "the bacteria did it" <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    lets say its some sort of corrosive that only hurts metal, and makes marines itchey. marine armor is a special plastic polymer, and is therefore also immune. so bilebomb washes off marines like rain of a waxed car, but hits structures like acid rain on a chunk of iron.

    splash splash splash, BROKE.

    That sounds like a good explanation

    Stand in the shower and nothing happens, put your computer in the shower and bad stuff happens. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    In earler versions when the fade had it as a 3rd hive ability, i guess they thought it was Too powerful.

    The gorge puts up buildings, so this is how he can take down others in 2.0.

    Balance is allways superior to realisim.

    In this case, the reason is "Because it's more balanced that way".
