2 separete ones
Ok as most of you prolly know there are 2 separate starship trooper soldiers out there. One with a helmet, and one without. Now each soldier.mdl i saw comes with 2 soldiers inside....so i was wondering if its possible to have 1 helmetless marine and 1 helmet marine run at the same time? Just for visual variety.

The normal and jetpack versions of the model can be different - in the SST model I put together I had one with helmet, the other without.

That used to be the only way it could be done, but if a person was to use the transparency .dlls you could have it so the helmet was randomised the same way the black and white skins are.

I was thinking the same- you can have blacks and whites, so why not w/w/o helmets?

Because the black and white marines effect is achieved by alternating the skin, if you look at the model underneath, it's completely unchanged.

No, you don't need to have one with the jetpack and one without.

You have 2 different skin groups to choose from.

Use the transparencies on one, and have the helmet totally transparent. <---- smrt

    Edit:
Damn, Maus already said it. But he wasn't clear about it!

That reminds me I downloaded the transparency dll's ages ago, but never installed them. I wonder if I can find em in the murky depths of my HD...knowing me I'll have lost them or accidentally saved them to someplace bizarre..
