<div class="IPBDescription">poor Marine healing system..</div> And claim as a reason to lock my post that it's because the same issue has been brought up many times and totally ignored by the developers of this mod..this should tell you something. Certainly a lot of players feel that some alternative method of healing than the current "hand of god dropping medkits" should be given to the marines and ignoring this apparently large group of players is going to prevent this game from being all that it could be.

I would like to see at least one good reason why the developers are so single-minded regarding this topic.

    Because it's THEIR game it's THEIR choice they don't care what you think they arn't out to make money. They want this game to be what they want it to be. Deal with it. Oh and don't make a new topic about locked posts just PM the Moderators,

    You have a gift for recognizing the obvious. I'm just interested in whether they've actually tried another system in the past, and if so, why they felt that it wasn't working out. My guess is they never even tried it and don't plan to because they mostly play aliens and hate the marines.

    O.k, insulting the devs (whether you meant to or not) is certainly not the way to get what you want, it is only likely to get THIS post locked as well, if not your forum ID deleted.

    But I agree, it would be very useful if marines had an alternate means of healing, like the health armoury on the voogru servers for example. (except that encourages armoury humping)

    But as it is, the system is fine. The commander can see if you need healing (via the little buttons, and, if he wishes, can drop you a medpack.

    The only major qualm I have about healing is that there is no way to indicate that you need welding. This has lead to many HA train demises <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    If you could possibly not lock this thread oh mighty admins, I think we could get a dicussion going on this issue, as opposed to the blaring, angry opinion which started this thread.

    They do care, but his point is very valid.

    It's their mod, they have a specific vision for it, and you're not going to get something in by being a whining little ****.

    If they only play marines how would you get any testing done? And why would you make a game where you only like to play half the sides? It doesn't make any sense man.

    (Also, when talked about before the decision to keep the health system was backed on all levels. pub, clan, dev [not necessarily in that order])

    O.k, now you have just crossed the line. You have no proof whatsoever to base that on, you could equally have said that the devs hate aliens in 1.0, because marines won the majority of games.

    Please take baseless opinions elsewhere.
