2> Resnodes Resnodes Resnodes - nothing in ns2 is more important than resflow. Where in ns1.04 you could save for HA&HMG train on three nodes and a two hive lockdown, Aliens will have everywhere else - cloaking all over the place and eventually will onos away to victory. Even if you have res comming in like water, keep capping more res and defending those places like mad - because each node you have, the aliens dont have. Elec and fortify resnodes.
3> UPGRADE!!!!11oneoneone - res for kills - the better your marines kill the more res you have - so upgrade, and hand out shottys, hmgs, GL's mine up your base for the nasty onos (stairs work well, as does mining doorways when they are in your base that way they have to take a hit to get out)
4> GL's work better than sieges - you need many sieges to work down a hive - a couple of GL's does the job much better - DONT BOTHER SHOOTING BUILDINGS WITH HMGS!!!! their damage vs structures was halved.
Alien prices for stuff:
resnode - 16
upgrade chamber - 10ish
OC - 10 ish
Hive - 35
Gorge - 10
Lerk - 30
Fade - 50
Onos - 100
EVERYTHING EXCEPT ONOS IS TEH CHEEPER TAHN B4!!!!11 So letting aliens have res results in 'gg'
Equally though, much of the marine stuff is much better than it was before, notable improvments:
Shotty has increased ROF
HMG has much smaller cone of fire
GL is lotsa powerful and has faster reload time (i think)
upgrades work even better as carapace took a nerf

i agree with philleh sieges are worth it.. they are a more permenant solution to GL's
