I Love Playing As A: *****

I must admit, I love playing as a gorge now. The new patterns for upgrade chambers add an entire new dimension to playing as a gorge. In fact, I find myself being sneakier as a gorge than I was as a skulk. Being a fat, slow moving target does that to a guy.
When I get a movement chamber and upgrade with Celerity I feel like some sort of supped up roadster. Flying around corners at breakneck speeds. Running into the knees of any poor marine who is in my way. As I tear off around the corner I chuckle as the marine eats the dust of my R-Type Gorge.
Or with silence and cloaking my gorge becomes an elite commando, dropping in behind enemy lines and setting up a firebase. A few seconds later the marines are cut off from any hope of escape as the Aliens pour through their entrance. They try to run only to impale themselves on invisible offence chambers.
Any similar experiences?

I usualy gorge to get an rt, and an o near it, and skulk back.

Basically insert your favorite alien here *****.
i am a bit interested as to other people's experiences with the alien forms.
The new Blink adds a brave new way to kill your enemy.
How many times have you been a fade, blinked from across the room right up to some marine, SLASHED him in the face (dead) and then blinked away before anyone saw you coming. Hide in a corner with Cloak, metabolize your self back to health and rinse and repeat!
I was afrade that the loss of Acid rocket till 3rd hive would make the Fade useless, Man I was wrong. I know that "Nau" fell in love with the new Fade as I showed him all the cool things you can do, when we played on Tanith.
I dont like skulks anymore, i used to prawn as a skulk in 1.04 but now im quite average, i blame those bloody big teeth i now have to look at all the time <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->
Ive not really done much lerking although it seems better than it was in 1.04 when i wasnt a huge fan.
Same with fades, although they seem harder to use than in 1.04, but thats a good thing as they were obsene back then.
Onos is good... but i feel cheap when being one as i have to get redemp to justify all that res and then i feel lame <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Overall winner = gorge
At this moment, I'm really enjoying the lerk. I found the 1.04 lerk fun, but kinda hard to play, as they made a lot of grunts and flapping noises, which often gave away my postion.. and with the 1.04 silence was buggy, and flaping taking alot of stamina, Adren was really the only choice. Now, I can go Ninja Lerk. Silence now pretty much silences everything, regen, cloaking, flying.. Everything short of the spores/umbra shots exploding and primal scream.
As such, I find that the perfect ninja Lerk is often silence, regen and cloaking/scent of fear (depening on if your team has a good sensory network or not). Silence + regen allows for you to take a few hits, without having to give up your much needed speed with Cara. The added bonus being that no one can hear you regen, so you can often retreat, regen, then go back if needed. Traveling with other classes can be a great way to get res. Short of skulks, marines will pretty much never target a lerk who is traveling with another type of alien. This means basicly that you can pick off marines with spores and spikes, while giving umbra to your teammate if possible.
