Paint Shop Pro Help?

<div class="IPBDescription">Anyone answer three *tinie* questions?</div> Alright, I have got this *really* cool idea in my head for a picture of NS. I have Paint Shop Pro 8 currently, but these are the following things I need to know to do...

1.) Cut an object out of a picture, and save *only* the cut object.
2.) Load the cut object onto another .bmp file, and place it within the picture.
3.) Place text...cool lookin text.

If I still cannot preform these tasks with help (You all know my short attention span, right?) then I will post my idea on the fourms in case anyone else would like to complete it for me.

I'm using PSP6, but this is how I'd do it.

1) Select the area that you want to cut.
2) Hit Ctrl+C (Copy)
3) Open the image you want to copy the other part from.
-
4) Hit Ctrl+E and move the selection where you want it.
OR
4) Hit Ctrl+L to paste the selection as a new layer. This will allow you to move the selection around easier.


I'm not sure how to add text in PSP8. It should be as simple as clicking the T icon, clicking somewhere in the image, and typing what you want.

EDIT:: Its not working. I want to cut the object out of the picture, and paste it <i>inside another picture, not within the same picture.</i>

This isnt gonna come out as well as I imagined it, but this is my <i>first time</i> on photoshop, and who knows, maybe if somone likes it enough, they could remake it with the same overall idea only better. I wish kylie girl could do this with those cool renders of hers.

post the image that you have right now. Then if you want someone else to do it post the material you started with and we can cut it up for you.
