Marines Can Still Build In Vents?

<div class="IPBDescription">WTH.</div> I thought this was going to be taken out: No matter what, marines should NOT be able to build inside the damn vent!

We had to spend 20 minutes tracking down a marine with a comm chair and an observatory inside a vent who kept respawning his whole team.

That's hillarious. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I see nothing wrong with building in vents.

This was also on Hera, which has the most damn confusing vent system ever.

Hera's vents are pretty straightforward. And thinking about what vent's you can build in...It probably wasn't a vent at all...

But even if they were, what's the big deal?

In the heat of battle, your bound to do something stupid. But in this case it was the smartest thing to do at the time.

Not being able to build in vents would be very dangerous and horrible. . . for example. . . the vent leading to marine start on bast needs a few turrets in it if you don't want to be slaughtered by aliens in the form of acid rocket or bile bomb or something else after the vent has been closed. I think random game prolonging cc's are a small price to pay to still be able to build in the vents, besides what about sieging form vents etc... Anyways if there are decent admins on the server they'll typically end it if the comm is just trying to waste everyone's time by continuing to build 600 more cc's in random places after the old one is about to get destroyed.
