Ok so i m playin ns on ns_eclipse on ralphy's yesterday. Im skulk and i switch to leap and it plays the ONOS charge sound. So i remember that the day before i had heard some1 else talk about how htat same thing had happend to him. So i reinstall NS. It works perfectly. Then TODAY im on the same server and it does it agian, this time im marine, and i pull out my welder and its the lerk spike shooter sound. THIS IS WIERD! i realize u might fix this with 2.01 but i want to know if theres a way to fix it cuz i dont want to have to reinstall ns and reconfig every single day. Plz help me!!!

    save your config.cfg file, that way when you reinstall it every time you play NS you can delete the new config.cfg and put the old one in. It will save the hassle of reconfiguring NS. As to an actual solution, i have no idea.

    We've heard of this but so far no one has been able to reliably duplicate it. We have no known fix. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling NS.

    umm, try starting up a lan game

    then type in the con:sv_cheats 1
    bigdig
    then join aliens and type:
    spawnhive (2 times)
    bind i givepoints (or any other unbound key)

    spam i a few times and then start playing around, you can also switch over to marines and play there (just spam i when ever you need rez <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->)

    see if you can reproduce said bug <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    oh and try staying away from the server you had the bug on and see if it still crops up <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
