    If that's just a vent, yeah, sure, it looks fine.

    Otherwise, if that's a corridor i would suggest you spend a lot more time on the lighting, texturing and architecture in general. The textures of the walls and the floor are mismatched and don't "go" well together. The lighing is rather boring and the orange shade is pretty hideous, inmho. The architecture is bland and boring, no detail whatsoever. If this is just a vent you can disregard all of those points since they don't really matter, but, just but, if it is a corridor, it needs a lot of work.

    acceptable vent, unnaceptable room.

    Propergate your map in a more sensible routine next time. Take good screen shots of rooms.

    yeah i agree, also if you only have little progress on your map, just leave it for a bit then post a more teasing thread, which people will look up to more, i didnt intend to be rude by any of my posts in this thread

    Just some questions!!!
    1) Is the vent ok???
    2) Are there enough details in the room there the command console is?!?!

    Well...there arent any details at all, as far as I can see. it's a big bare room. The color also makes things hard to tell apart.

    looks like a arena.. happy fragging marines. If you can say me how a alien want to survive there..
    But its a good start, but you cannot make the marine start a double res... common, that just doesent work.
    If i would be you.. i would make a new room with a completely other idea.

    The architecture and texturing look fine, its a pretty good base and competently made. The thing that really needs work is the lighting. Its constant throughout the whole thing except when it changes color. There needs to be some variation, particularly if you are going to be using that color of lighting heavily. that much of it could be headache inducing.

    I really like the ceiling.

    The blue lighting makes me feel like I'm under water. I suggest that you change the lighting a bit. Also, it isn't a great idea to have the light in the vent be brighter then the light in the room. The general layout and texture set of the room is nice though. As a final note, please use a differnt sky. That sky just screams HALF LIFE at me.

    You also don't need to post 3 times in a row (just edit) and you don't need to give that many screenshots of one room.

    Okay, okay!!! But there is a thing I didn't say!!!
    You all know: In all maps the aliens are going to kill the marines, and the marines are going to kill the aliens hives! In my map it is the same, but in an other version! I thought about a story!
    Like this: In the lab, the aliens escaped out of the alien-prisons, and started to kill all marines in the labs!
    The marines must escape from the aliens, I think, I will build func_weldables, which looks like rocks in the corridors, and the corridors will look broken, so the roof of the corridors are broken and rocks fell down, which must be destroyed with the welder!!!<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:yellow'>WELDER-POWER</span></span>
    And the aliens are coming from behind, and after a few meters there is a new place with resource nozzles to build a base, because the old is getting destroyed by the aliens! This is then so long getting downer and downer into the labs, until the marines find the alien hive(s) in the prisons, and can destroy them!

    It looks pretty good and the architecture is nice and simple. I think however that you should go a little easy on the blue, and add wall mounted lights to this area to add a little variation in colour and brightness. A few wall white lights spread around the walls would break up the continuous blue.

    I like it, though it's a little too blue for my liking. Do you see where the red vent and blue room create a nice contrast? Try putting a few more (not working) vents in that room, or just red lights in general. That would make the room a lot more interesting.
