<div class="IPBDescription">bug ? or just a cool thing =D |</div> i was playing a game the other day and i decided to see how building oc's in the marine base would go lolz, i thought it would end quick and fast, BUT, this is what happened, in the screenshot below it shows the part im talking about, and even when that place is welded shut, u can still drop oc's down there and on the ledge and the marines cant shoot you because that thing is welded, and when i did it, i dropped about 3 and as 1 died, the rest got built, and so i droped more and more and more and ended up winning because after the ocs all kill the living marines, the lerks rampaged in there with the spors and we won the game very VERY quickly and easily. BUT the real issue here is if its a bug ? or just a cool thing like ive said above ??. ok i hope to see a reply soonz, im off to build some oc's =)

my guess :it is a bug with entities,that the building entities(team_offensechamber or whatnot) can still be built through func_whatever that is :/
yup somehow that vent opens up even if welded. i mean, after all those 2.0 RC candidates and testing they wouldnt let something like this to escape QA... i wonder if it is toggled by the commander(i.e works like lifts and doors)??
he means that this thing you have found out could be used as an exploit for lamers and he want to make sure that it spreads as little as possible
Marines: Don't weld that vent, its easier for lerks + gorges to attack your base if you do.. (I can't believe I just said that, sitting up there as lerk is my favorite thing to do)
