More then one natural selection?

This might be old or already posted but.
Over at the Computer and Video games site, they have some interesting news on an AvP title for the XBox. There's not much more info on this, but here's what it says:

"Right. An unknown company is working on an Aliens vs Predator title for Xbox, dubbed Natural Selection. Rebellion, the UK-based developer of the first title in the revered series, issued a firm "no comment" when asked about the title today, but rumour is insisting an American outfit has picked up the project.

Speculation is also doing the rounds suggesting that Rebellion is looking to pull the franchise back in-house. Insiders have gossiped recently that the company's upper echelons were less than impressed with Monolith's Alien vs Predator 2. Again, Rebellion chief's made no comment on the matter this afternoon."

Along with Aliens: CM for PS2, it looks like console owners will be getting a good dose of alien blasting action! Cool!

------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone have any idea what this is all about, i found it while surfing and just found it weird.

Yeah, that was posted here quite a while ago. Cool thing is, they apparently changed (had to change?) the name to something else. So... NS is once again the only NS. I... think.

Like I said, if it ever was an issue, it no longer is.

The AvP game is not named Natural Selection anymore.

*grins* And it would have been our NS's copyright that was infringed upon (probably why they changed). Flayra was -smart- and got one for the name.

Yeah, from what I heard, they changed the name to AvP: Primal Hunt. If they wanted to keep the name, they'd be getting themselves into a stupid legal battle. I have the trademark for Natural Selection (in video game context), so there's not much they can do about that.

Are you sure? Primal Hunt is the expansion for AvP2. If they were bringing it to X-Box, that'd be odd...
