How To Host A Game?

I have tryed to host my own game but when my friends try to join they get a message about it being a lan game & they cant join, i get the same message when they try to host & i try to join them.
How do you host your own game & have others join you?.

If this happens, just type <i>sv_lan 0</i> in console. That should fix it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
