My Thoughts On 2.0

<div class="IPBDescription">i actually think its balanced</div> Believe it or not it IS balanced. I do, however have 2 qualms with it

1. Sensory chambers. The cloaking range is too huge. it is just insane how many structures a cloaking chamber can cloak... many people may disagree with me, but i think it should be lowered drastically

2. Scanning... We dont click on an armory to drop guns, why must we click on the observatory to drop scans.... it gets too cumbersome when sieging. It really doesent matter which obs u use.. so make it just keep taking energy from obs to obs.......

Movements should have a larger range ATM it's very small and not that useful...

Yes, #2 would simplify things. However, as it is, I don't think it's a major issue. Comm mode improvements come second, after gameplay balance.

#1 is, like, completely off. Should siege range be lowered? If not, I don't see how the argument of a sensory chamber that can cloak someone right up until they hit a siege, but be just out of range is valid?

And, to address your unmarked point, that 2.0 is balanced. NO. 2.01b has major marine improvements and alien nerfs (okay, not THAT major compared to 2.01a and 2.01c, but fair), yet even vet clans can't win as 'rines with it.

To see what's causing this imbalance (well, everyone knows one way to fix it, ala revert to the thoroughly tested 2.0y, but that supposedly wasn't all that much fun), and then, ultimately, to fix it. That and bug fixes, which are sexy.
