The background information on the main site is crappy. It doesn't explain much anything.

When was the TSA formed?

Who was in charge before the TSA?

What and where are there colonies in space?

Etc. etc. etc.

Can't really write fan fic if I have to **** everything on the way.

    It'd be so cool if someone made a starchart of known kharaa infested areas, marine colonies, earth. I think it'd be great. We could intertwine all ou stories.

    Exactly, there's really nothing out there with solid information on the TSA, the Kharra... it's all just contradicting bullpocky.

    I do agree with on that, but Flayra and the Dev team are coders/modelers/mappers/etc, not storytellers. I can answer one of your questions though:

    Nobody was incharge in keeping everyone in line before the TSA. It was just a bunch of squabling trans-system nations with lots of guns and similar interests. The TSA are essentially a military police that has the right to go any where at any time. It was because of that that they could fight the Kharaa because of their high manuverability. Get there in time before 3 hives go up <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->.

    Various fan-fics and the main page can't seem to pinpoint on exactly where Kharra first showed up, it kinda jumps all over.

    Eh, think of it like the Star Wars universe. Hundreds of people write in the SW universe, but they all can either not contradict each other, and they can all fit together, because some dweeb specificially wrote up exactly what major events have happened, and how, and given lots of 'inside information' on the history (Clone wars, crap like that). NS has NONE of that.
