<div class="IPBDescription">how do i fix it</div> every time i play ns i try to communicate with my mic but it seems to be choppy all the time... how do i fix it and why is it choppy?

    does choppy means it has gaps?

    possible reasons for that are
    lag / packet loss (search better pinged servers, flame admins)
    not enough up-traffic (start hl/voice_tweak.exe and decrease quality, buy cable)
    your macine is too exhausted (decrease resolution, buy new pc)

    Sounds about right. Also, if you use voice activated voice com, that might be why too. your voice might be dropping below the threshold level
