NS was consistently ahead of TFC until just a couple days ago. At another point, it was ahead of DoD, but TFC had leap-frogged it, making NS remain #3.

Yes, most of the TFCers are actually bots. So really NS is the #3 mod.

Ive seen loads of tfc servers completely full of bots, why do people do that?

I actually think TFC is better.

(Prepares for beatings and flames).

There aren't any games that go on for 3 hours unless the server has set the map for that long. And everyone has equal access to all the classes and, thus, the game is more dependant on skill and less dependant on exploits and imbalances. Overall, at the end of a game of TFC, I don't feel as frustrated or stressed or tired as I would in NS.

And whining about bots doesn't actually stop the bots from being there. And the fact that less servers than you think actually run any bots at all, let alone a full server of them.

Well us NS are already cheating since 1.04! I've seen a couple servers with just plain bots and I swear they do that to make the playercount high so people would be tempted to join...

guys just hack those cs servers and install ns.... there are SO MANY servers which didnt see a human player for weeks/months/years.... with that amazing amout of servers, its no problem to find servers which are terribly secured... its really a shame how some admins are - not - securing their servers. i just mailed to an admin that he had a hole in his server. about three weeks later i could get root access using the same exploit... he better should have installed the patch...(that patch was out for about a month) i just found out that stinky sysadmin password they set on all of their machines in their datacenter....
