<div class="IPBDescription">What goes in the target line?</div> Hey, my PC has some interesting issues and thus the install freezes after the full instilation but before it can make me any shortcuts. First off, if anyone can help me with that, that would be great. Even if that isn't possible I would just like to modify my target line in the standard half-life shortcut (such as -console) so it starts in NS, doesn't play the intros, and runs in 32 bit color. Thanks for your help.

I BELIEVE that it makes the stupid green boxes show ###s for the ingame server browser

On the other issue, if your install is freezing, the problem is usually a combination of two things - running programs, and anti-virus software. To solve this, turn off your anti-virus software and reboot. Then when you boot up, don't start any applications or open any windows - just run the install. Should work perfectly. If not, post back here.

as a side note, this is actualy their attempt to get you to lower your virus scaner so that they can fit int their ubber virii!!!!!
