<div class="IPBDescription">just now, so crazy..</div> i just got back from a sick and crazy game in eclipse, i joined amrines when aliens were winning with 3 hives, it looked like we gonna have to go for a last stand, but. we got a new commander, and everyone got thier act together, aliens had onos and everything all over, we took station access res tower secured it, then went to horseshoe, we all stuck as one and we succeded on capping them. then we got HA's and shotguns which was a complete wreckage of the alien team, overall we had to save marines from the onos belly at least 11 times, well anyways we pushed to maint and after a long 30 minutes finally sent the heavies in and cleared it out, then we moved to SLoop and secured that, then the huge epic battles began, the game went back and forth with aliens killing SL then marines regaining it, this went on at least 4 times. then the aliens started to push us back but luckily for us a lone amrine was next to ecl hive and built a phase gate, we secured that and seiged the hive, the alien had cc hive left and were still fighting strong with fades and onos, the game ended up to be the aliens all were soar losers and f4ed b4 we could take down ther hive, but we still won, the point im showing you guys here is that this was a limux so it was original 2.0. its amazing how people say "OMGZ AL3NS R T00 P0W3RfuL!!! NERF Th3M!!!" but meanwhile a marine team that looked like wer were going to get crushed ended up sticking together and won the game, the aliens DID in fact ahve good teamwrok as well setting up ambushes. so unless you play a good game like this and see that the team with better teamwork wins then dont go whining and saying aliens are tooo strong becuase alien killed your team in a game due to ur poor teamwork.

yea i know but i still dont understand why people say aliens are too strong? alot of games ive played regardless the species the better coordinated and teamwork based won, sure aliens can rip apart a group of HA's but u need more teamwork than that, what my strat is to prevent ramping hungry onos is inf im a la and i see an onos ill jump in front of the ha and get devoured by accident intead for the better of the team

-alien teams who have almost everyone gorging from time to time actually win FASTER.

You missed one other misconception:

-Jetpacks are the counter to onos

its the starting res,they can just quickly go gorge,drp an rt and when theyre done they have enough res to revert back to a skulk

Meaning that aleins can take over most RTs in the map in a short amount of time,that's where the imbalance comes in
But then yet you know they are vulnerable so they might just be wasting their res on the RT <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

And the marines STILL haven't realized that....unless of course the aliens have SCs(a pain in the butt I might add without an early observatory)

I've won quite a bit when comming, especially on veil.

Whenever we make the win, I always make an effort to say be sarcastic and say how overpowered the aliens are.
