For the first three aliens, use the crouching dimensions. For Fades and Marines, use the regular dimensions. For the Onos, multiply the dimensions by 2.

A skulk is the height of a crouching marine. Same for the lerk.

...and this is not because the coders were lazy, but Half-Life only has 3 hulls to clip players and 1 for all the small things. Hull 0 is the same as your level geometry. It is used for point like things that need no distance from the walls: grenades, demolition packs, particles. Hulls 1 to 3 are used for the players in NS. What might be confusing is the fact that all players are only points for the engine. It is not their model size that keeps their centers away from the walls but the hull they get assigned to. The onos hull is 64x64x108 inches. These values get compiled directly into the bsp. After the compile the level consists of five levels in one. A textured version for the visuals and four invisible versions, like you made a level out of clip textures. The last one of these, for the onos is like the first clip hull, but with its borders narrowed 32 inches on the left and right, 32 inches on north and south sides, the ceiling is moved 54 inches (units) down and the floor is raised 54 inches. So when you have an onos 'point' it can move in a much smaller level than a skulk point. It could have been coded else, but it is much faster this way because you only have to calculate the center of each model and it's distance to a wall/floor instead of a box around it or even the whole model with all its details. Negative effects: You can stand on paper thin objects, you have the same hull no matter how you twist and turn a model. (The skulk for example: Walking up a wall it is 4 inches higher than broad - same as when it walks on the floor. All just because it is only a point to the engine.)
Damn why do I write all that? Noone asked for it. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> ...well, maybe someone finds it interesting after all.
