<div class="IPBDescription">...oh the joy</div> Heh... Onos...
I did a quick 5 minute sketch of an onos from memory then did a quick color job as a last minute thought. I tried to capture the feriocity I see in Onos by it's stance. Does anyone know if theres a free program I can download that allows me to manipulate an actual Onos so I can get it into this position to take a screeny?

I'm gonna sketch the rest of the family too, but first i need to sharpen my pencil. the one I used was absoloutely dull when i sketched the onos out last night.

yeah, i noticed when i looked at the model earlier. but in my head it seemed to have more. Heh, i think it looks better with more tentacles, 'cause I have dreadlocks and they remind me of dreads.

    cool pic.

if your looking for a program to capture the onos model (or any other HL model for that matter) try <a href='http://www.planetquake.com/qsb' target='_blank'>Quake Scene Builder</a> or <a href='http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/hlmv/index.html' target='_blank'>Half Life Model Viewer</a> both are really good progs but i use QSB the most, its easier to make a 'scene' where as HLMV just brings up a singel model.

heh, thanks again. scenebuilder should be helpful. and i knew about hlmv, but it doesnt really let be build scenes. i just use it for making skins.

After looking at the pic for a while, it seems to me it looks like a "younger" onos. I dunno. Love the foreshortening though, and again, VERY cool style <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

How do you see the actual picture you are gonna take in QSB? The tutorials cover everything BUT that. Really pisses me off. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

Yea, there is, it's called Maya PLE. It comes with UT2003 or you can download it from the website of the company that makes it. I forgot the name but just do a search on google for maya.

lol some one should make a caveman wall and then slap on the onos!! Onos during the prehistoric time <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> O yea

That is NICE! Wow, except it needs a little more variety of colors. The Onos's skin DOES look a bit like tree bark.

There is no trial. It is just free, for non commercial uses that is. Again, no trial.

well, when I tried to use Maya PLE after a while I coulddn't because it said something about it being expired or something. maybe it's just because I downloaded it from the website. I should install the one the came with UT2k3.
