Setting Up Is Good, But Walling Is Terrible

I thought I would get this in the open;
One of the biggest mistakes I see in winning alien servers, is the fact that the simply builds his offensive structures RIGHT IN THE WAY of the way you need to go out. I remember one server where a built three offensive structures, and put two defensive structures on top. Now, that doesn't seem that bad, however, he put them at BOLTH ENTRANCES OF OUR HIVE, and we couldn't escape. Now, this is expecially a pain for an onos, who when redeemed is now screwed. from now on, please give us a little space. If you bunch all your buildings in a tiny spot, they can become grenade fodder.
Personally, I found it's best to give a little space. That way, if one can't hit that marine attempting to snipe out your buildings, then the second one may.

This acts as a healing station, is hard to take out with a GL, and doesn't block passageways. With webs, it's brutal. Without webs, it's still enough to seriously injure light-armored people who run by it (and kill those who try to destroy it).
Alternately: [OC][SC] on one side of a hallway and just [OC] on the other. The second OC should be placed some distance behind the SC, in order to prevent a marine from knifing the SC to death. IME, this works best if you need minimal area denial in the early game.
OT OT
OT ------I place a chamber under the rear OT. The chamber servers to either speed up, heal or cloak the other AND also boost 3rd OT to shoot over front. A little better set up..
OT OT
OT
---OT ------ this allows all 4 OTs to fire
Yes, I saw this done today.
