Glock Model

<div class="IPBDescription">Where...?</div> I searched but found nothing, and the search is pretty screwed up for me; keeps giving me page cannot be displayed and such... so I was just wondering where I could get the Glock model for NS, and possibly NS hands as well. If anyone knows where that is, please direct me there and I'll be on my way.

Edit: Also, there was a pistol, I believe named SV Infinity by WolfKahler or summat... if there is no such thing as a Glock or Glock with NS hands, please direct me to the SV Infinity... thanks a bunch.

    I'm not sure on the glock model myself, but are you using the search option at the top of the page? If so, then use the bottom one, alot of people have problems with the top one.

    Yeah I was using the top one... but I found nothing on Glocks. I found one Glock model, and it had NS hands, but it was ironsight, and it had very strange animations... but the model itself was sweet. I would gladly take that if it had more "regular" animations and wasn't ironsighted.

    But about the SV Infinity... if no one finds the Glock model, the SV will work. It used to be hosted on <a href='http://www.nsrc.tk/' target='_blank'>http://www.nsrc.tk/</a> but no longer.

    Also, I've decided to make my own model. I took the Glock 18 model from the CS Realism MOD (it's the most beautiful Glock model I've ever seen for any HL mod) and tried to make it the NS pistol. It's PERFECT, except for one simple thing... It may be the origins or something, but the hand holding the pistol is much too far back. The other hand, however, is perfectly fine; it's in the right place.

    Spawn you are uber leat. I think it's working... just gonna do a few more tests.

    Also, if it eventually works, I might release it (and of course give credit to the original model/skin makers).

    It works fine except some of the animations are really screwed up. Right after you fire it reloads, then when u actually press reload it doesn't have any animation...

    Play around with the fps (frame rates per second) in the qc. to ge the animations to line up. E.g reload 25 fps take it ingame reload it and press shoot, if it shoots before the reload has finshed then speed up the animation by upping the fps in the qc.

    The weapon has to have the same number of animations, in the same order, with the same names, as he weapon you are aiming to replace. ( the NS pistol in this case.) Check the qc file ( or sequences in HLMV for more details on the individual smd's. ).

    BlackPanther made a nice conversion / hackjob tutorial on the Firearms forums, have a look at it..

    Give me a hug. It worked.

    M'kay so it's in BETA stages. I need to speed up the anims 'cos it looks way too slow, make P and W models, and make NS hands. It shouldn't be too hard from here.

    Now how exactly do I edit the origins? I need to move it a but up and out of the corner. Do I play around with the $eyeposition part?

    Hmm, i'm not entirely sure on this, but doesn't NS use the exact same hands as CS? If so, perhaps a reskin would solve the problem. Heavy hands will, however, be a bit more difficult, since they're different models.

    NS has more rounded finger tips I believe.

    I wish someone who was an uber leat modeler would just make a really nice, high-poly Glock, I could even provide them with a skin. Taking **** from other mods is odd...
