I Need A Map.

<div class="IPBDescription">For Cinematic camera practice.</div> Hey, I am practicing my cinematic movie skills for NS <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->. I need a map, doesn't have to be a huge or complete map but something that I can take the camera into vents and stuff. Would be nice if it has particle effects. I need the .rmf file and whenever I finish making it, I will post it here for people to run around in. Might take me some time but I have practiced and wanted to actually zoom around in a different perspective and show it to others. Thx.

I think he means that he want's to use the HL camera (something which doesn't work in NS, unless that was fixed in NS2) to create a cinimatic camera path around a map. To do that you need to have the RMF ro put in the targets ans stuff, at least that's what I think he means...

you can use mine the one posted o ns world or teh one im uploading tomarrow night. curently few particle effects so might not be what you are looking for.

sorry, but I just want an .rmf file of a map or part of map that someone is working on with particle effects and I want use the camera to follow a path and just release the same file. Not gonna add anything or finish it. If I do it will prob. be just particle effects. But can someone post a map that I can work with? Thx.

why a rmf again? do you mean a bsp? bsp is a compiled map that has light and stuff. Rmf's can only be opened in hammer and making a movie out of a rmf would look quite crapeh. I for one don't know why you would need a rmf, but thats just me.

I am not making a free-look movie or nothing. I need the .rmf file so I can add a set of path_corners so the camera can follow them to make a cinematic movie effect. Yes it does work with NS.

I'm pretty sure the trigger_camera entity is still b0rked in NS2, which is what it sounds like Zer0BurN wants to use for his movie.

Nah, it works. The only problem is that you can't freeze the player, but I will prob. just use a trigger_multi and spawn a box over the player so he will freeze. But it works, so I just need a map to zoom around in.
