Converting Demos To Avi Files.

How do you convert demo files to avi? I want to show my friend a nice round of ns <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> . I saw other post on this but i couldn't find it and yes i did use search , but nothing on converting.

I know geekplay get give u loads of .bmp to convert into an avi, but u need a good graphics card todo it.

Use the console command:
startmovie <demoname> <fps>

Do that after youve started playing a demo, that will start creating BMP files. Then use a program called VideoMach to compile the BMPs into an AVI. <a href='http://www.planetfortress.com/hlmp/hlmp2-beta/news.asp' target='_blank'>Tutorials and crap here</a>

Fraps is a piece of crap. Sorry but if you want a decent video you have to do it yourself.
