I noticed a few things while compiling "Ship" (Yep still not releasing the actual names. And Remember how I described my bulged wall effect? Yes well after compiling I got a nice leak error. This after setting up the temp textures and setting some temporary lighting (ala doom3). After hours of tedious search I could not find the dam# leak. I figure it is on the bulge seeing as that is made up of a few hundred shapes <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->. Is there a quick way to find the leak? When I used the auto leak finder it took me to the spot, but with so many wire frame thingies I could not discern left from right and up from down.

umm the leak finder is a program that finds leaks for u..... i think that quark has that feature too.....

Someone did create a program that goes through your .map file and changes the texture around the leak for u to find it. I'll go find it...oh its allready posted in the post above me!!
There are many other ways to find your leak, one is to create a big box around your map, create a 16*16 texture, and make it a green light as a texture light(or any other flashy colour) and texture your box with it fully scaled, then compile and walk around your map, you'll know when you've found your leak as the leak will then give off a green light. get it? ****BUT KEEPING THE BOX AROUND THE MAP IS NOT A SOLLUTION TO STOP LEAKS*** only use this technik to find the leak.

It maybe just a box room with other rooms attached but its my best map yet! (My 2nd map in total)
