Have you ever played the normal, "campain" mode in normal half-life?
If you didnt, try this...
Put in yuor hafl-life cd.
Start up a normal game of half-life (singleplayer) and play for like 5 mins.
This happened to me once....it turns out that half-life checks your cd-key against something the FIRST time you play singleplayer. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
If you ever installed half-life, the first time you run it you have to play singleplayer with your cd in your drive.
Sorry Monsieur, thought I described it earlier in the posts. It's mostly me connecting to certain servers and my CD key is ALWAYS in use on those servers. I can play fine on the others, it seems.

And yes, I have entered my CD Key to Half-Life.
"C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -game ns -noipx -nointro -console -numericping"
If that helps in anyway to solving this problem ... thats awsome =D
