<div class="IPBDescription">I want this to be possible</div> Here's my goal: binding the Commander hotkeys to the numpad.
Instead of "wertasdfzxcv" i would like it to be "kp_home..." etc.
Why? Because I am a used to using the numpad from work and it seems a lot more intuitive with the visual representation. Now, I have not managed to accomplish this so I am hoping that someone will either know how to or explain to me why it is impossible.

Thx Matt
Someone just wanted to move the keys and there is a bit in one of the files that says "qwertasdfzxcv" (I think q is included) and you can replace the letters, currently on a foriegn comp so can't search and test for you. Whether you can change it to numpad I don't know.
Can't remember the file so just try searching through the files in the NS folder for "qwertasdfzxcv". The quick forum search I did couldn't find the post...
I don't know if it's possible to use keys that are longer than 1 letter such as kp_home. Maybe with liberal use of quotation marks. IE cl_cmhotkeys ""tab"qwe"capslock"asd"shift"zxc" or something like that. (if you wanted to move everything to the left by one) I don't know if this will work though.
And no, it won't be a problem due to the 4x3 since the bottom right key isn't used.
Press numlock for "Basic Structures"
Press Numpad_7 for a Res Tower.
Numpad_7 was no longer numpad_7, but was "Home" since you pressed Numlock. Key does not work.
