firstly u dont shoot from the hip, secondly i know someone from a particular spec op team who ever fires a g3 (there r hardly any guns with more recoil) from hip and thirdly just look at the ns players how they hold their guns
whatever apart from realism and that v model's origin and where the player model holds the p model should match, i also like the original perspective better cuz it shows more of the gun and also covers less of your screen

1) Make sure you read the entire thread before responding, I know I'm not a moderater or anyting close, but to respond to something you haven't even taken the time to read is disrespectful. NS is a game built on teamwork and disrespect is not acceptable.
2) EnemyATheGates, I believe it was mentioned earlier that the DOD.dll was required to use the model, ever since it uses some advanced modelling options, chiefly additive textures. Try copying that over, as mentioned in the first post on this thread. If it still doesn't work, feel free to throw sticks at me.
3) Weine, I think it's great work. I haven't been surfing these forums much, as of late, but they seem to be getting a bit mean. Just keep up the good work and know that eventually everyone grows up and learns that any modelling work requires effort. As for copying other people's stuff, we're talking about clearly labelled hacks. Hacking a model still requires quite a bit of work, especially if we're talking about creating one's own viewpoint, aligning the skin mesh, then using a properly credited skin.
And I'd love to see that sexeh viewpoint; this whole additive thing is pretty new to me. I would gladly donate a bit of space using my newly acquired, university powered webspace.
