Problem With Ip Address..

My computer has conflicting IPs...
Okay, so a little while ago my clans server went down (never try to force 32 players on a server you are only renting for 16, it angers peoples) and I was gonna be pretty much away from my computer for a week, so I tried to set up a small server, no adminmod type stuff, just a plain server, give or take C-D. Unfortunatly, the network my computer is on assigns every computer its own internal ip. My computer recognizes only this IP, not its external one. So no matter what my sv_lan settings or anything are, it will still be a lan game, unable to be found via the internet, which really sucks. I was wondering if there is anyway to set up my router or computer to assign my computer a working external IP, in case I ever need to set up a server. (which will probably be soon as the person in charge of my clans servers would rather run 1 box with 2 CS servers, 1 sven and one other server than an NS server + anything else we can force on the box)

Look in your router configurations for port forwarding, and have it forward all of the HL server oriented ports to the server's internal IP address.
If you cannot find Port Forwarding Settings, check to see if the router has a newer firmware available and update it if needed, then check again.
You will get an ms_dos type screen and type ipconfig /all
For the connection you are using.. get the "ip address"
Then go to internet explorer and type that in the bar to navigate to it...
On most routers this opens up the settings for the router...
On the off chance its a linksys router... almost all linksys routers are 192.168.1.1

I can't find any port forwarding option in the set up, but there is a Vitrual Server and Special Applications option..
The virtual server set up looks something like This
Which one do you suggest I try? and which ports do I put down (I know one of them is 27015.. but are there any others that HL uses?)
I'm gonna try updating HLDS and see if that does anything.. probably won't...
oh.. and as for teh Rcon password.. once again.. its just random so I could show you what the hell was going on with my HLDS. Don't try hacking the normal P clan server with that pass, I don't even know the normal P clan server Rcon pass
That's fine. Just make sure sv_lan "0" is set, and it'll be an internet server. Players will see and connect to your firewall's external IP address, which will forward the traffic through to your host machine.
The server doesn't show up.
The external IP address doesn't work.
The internal IP does work, but won't let me connect.
WTH?!
