Server Error From Hell And Back ( Help )

<div class="IPBDescription">error message inside ( HELP )</div> i get this message every time i try to log to a server using all seeing eye

tmessage::TextMessageParse : messagecount>=MAX_MESSAGE

also, when trying to use the ingame browser, i click on internet gamesand i get a message saying my NS executable is out of date, ns will now update, i click ok and then the HL update comes up and tells me my HL is up to date.

Sys specs are

1.8 Ghz P3
256 MB DDR Ram
GF 2 mx400/400

    i have looked at other threds, stop all out of game applications, turn off all bots , and you said you have no idea what that message means and i will have to wait for some one that does!

    if you know a way to fix it, i may send you a cookie <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->


    full sys specs are :

    CPU : 1.8 P3
    OS : win XP
    HDD : erm cant remember
    RAM : 512MB ( I MADE A MISTAKE BEFORE :/)
    Vid/sound cards: GF 2 Mx 400 / in built sound card
    Net Connection 512 k ADSL
    CS/HL Retail

    Instead of using the dodgy autoupdater, try simply downloading the full 1.1.10 HL retail patch from a server. You can get it from places like:

    <a href='http://www.cscentral.com/dl/dl.php?719' target='_blank'>cscentral</a>
    <a href='http://www.cscentral.com/dl/dl.php?719' target='_blank'>fileaholic</a>

    and so on. once you run that patch, uninstall and reinstall NS, then tell us how things are working.
