Just had to post this.
I'm serious. This had to be the best ever- both teams, HIGHLY skilled people, NON CLAN MATCH, went head to head on ns_caged. Right at the beginning, aliens got all 3 hives. It looked like it was over. Then, we **** off their Onos and a ton of us LA SG and HMG/GLs went and took down sewer. It looked like we could survive.
Then, they brought in 4 Onos, on a 6vs6 match. We took 2 down, but all died.
But our team was already going towards Generator- we sieged it, and it went.
But by then, sewer was already up.
We went, and took sewer back, same way as before. All hell was going- Onos were attacking the base, over and over and over, sensory on both sides. Me with my lone grenade launcher, stood at our entrance, shooting nades in both directions, hoping to survive.
Then, suddenly, a 3 man Onos team ran in, destroying our turrets, taking everything out. I retreated to the back of the base, into the hallway, for hopeful support. I had already taken 2 Onos' with the aid of the turret, but this one seemed untouched as he took away my last defense, the electrified TF. He charged at me, my shotgun ringing out, and suddenly "ROOOOOOOOAAAR!", he fell over, dead. I breathed hard, and put up the turrets ASAP, while my team locked up SEWER, after destroying it. Suddenly, I get another waypoint to Vent- I phased through, leaving the base all alone, and we marched towards vent, and sieged it, with the aide of turrets. 3 times a single Onos attacked, but we held steadfast and every time released a marine, held within its girth.
We left Venthilation, secured, and returned to base, for the last push. The team geared up- 5 heavies, 1 shotgun, 2 HMGs, 1 GL, and One perm welder. We rushed stability, but that was the farthest we got. We sieged the accompanying hallway to generator, getting ready to finally end the game. Suddenly their WHOLE team, 6 Onos, ran into stability, right after I phased through. Praying under a silent breath, I and "Aezay" ran for Auxilery Generator. It was clear. I saw the Onos death count rack up, along with out own men. Luckily, we held our position, and even moved ahead. Me and aezay, being pushed by numerous Onos(who knew where that res was comin from), held off Aux gen while we slowly pushed the turrets farther and farther towards Generator. We renamed that hallway to Omaha beach then, because the aliens were practically running to their death. We finally got close enough, and began to siege. But then, a single Onos took out our first line AND our siege, then stability went down. I heard many curse over the comm link, and me and Aezay ran in, pushing ever so slowly, to Generator. Finally, out of ammo, and out of Res, Aezay covers me with his welder, waiting for something to comeby, or spawn, which he somehow got many, and a few bit on me, but I continued to weld the hive, and right as I died, the hive died, and...ping...ping...ping...
Death.
Victory.
The best fight we'd ever had.
And now, a pic of the ending. I know the teams were uneven at the end- blame that on a single guy switching. Anyone who was there taht night knows why this was such a great game. Here ya go.

They're just too scared to taste the bitterness of defeat, with the excuse of "Well, we are gonna lose eventually". You don't see use Marines quitting so early do you?
AND IM BANNED FROM THAT SERVER!! T_T I soo wanna go back there...but I need my ban to be lifted...
GG indeed.
Sounds like all stinking fun .
Yes this alien team of "HIGHLY skilled people" lacked all of the above....

Mared, Welcome to the forums and all, but can you do something other than flame? this one-trick pony stuff is getting boring.
It was a fun story, and sounded like the marines got a lucky break and it ended up being a lucky streak.
Once you crush morale, it's only a matter of time before the aliens get easy to kill.
Me and the comm(very good friends) were talking about for about 10 minutes in the game about how "Dude, if they get lerks, we are so gonna get owned."
"I know man...lets hope that we stay lucky and they keep being Onos"
"Ya...ACK! ONOS! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!"
"Dude, stop spamming the mic"
"Dude, why not? I've got a reserved slot, PH33R MAH POWAH!"
"You got that from some film about Hitler, didn't you?"
"Nah, Stalin."
