Update Problem Please Help.

my half life version is 1.1.1.0 yet whenever i try to join a ns server it says its out of date. i try to update it and it says that my half life client is out of date but there are no new updates for it. WTHH?<!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->? help is greatly appreciated as i really want to play this game.

How are you trying to join a server? Ingame server browser? ASE? GSA? GS3D?

uhh in game server browser. should i be using something else?

I'm just curious to see if it's a problwm with your server browsing method. Do you have an alternate method? NS asked you if you wanted to install gamespy arcade, for example - did you say no?

Do you have problems playing any other mods besides NS?

this is the first time ive played any half life mod for quite a while. i checked cs and it gave me the exact same result. no i did not install game spy

Ahhh... if that's the case, can you verify for me that you really do have HL 1.1.1.0? Right-click HL.EXE, choose properties, then version. What's the file version?

well i uninstalled half life reinstalled it repatched it and now it works. go figure <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> c ya in game. thnx for help
