When we have three hives, I generally play lerk as I enjoy supporting the other players, and also love filling the marine base with green clouds poison.
Anyway, last night I eventually got 100 res and decided to go Onos, something which I rarely do. I'd read up on how to use Charge effectively and decided to try it out (I had celerity, scent of fear and redemption). OMG it rules! Hit charge and just keep the forward key held down - you do an enormous amount of damage and I managed to kill 5-6 marines at a time on a couple of charges.
squish! squish! splat! squish! go the fleshy humans under my giant hooves of death!
I think I'll try that more often in future. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Celerity makes charge easier to escape with, but generally harder to hit things with. You blow right past your target. I think adrenaline is a better choice for 3rd hive onos, and celerity is almost always better for 1-2 hive.
Wedging yourself in between a few buildings, or a building and a wall, is a good way to do loads of damage (often to multiple targets). Marines are only easy to charge in corridors not much wider than yourself or when they're in their base, limited in mobility by their structures. Still, in their base, you're probably going to get slowed down more then they are. Stomp/gore/devour is better vs players alot of the time.
Works a lot of wonders against turret farms....unless you are a redemption Onos,in which case you should start learning the word 'escape'

Gore, gore, devour. Next marine. Gore Gore Devour. Next marine. Rinse and repeat.
They're so low health that you may as well gore them a third time, but its fun and annoying to devour them, and if you're cara or regen with Adren you can plod about their entire base sowing discord. They bunny hop all over you and your friends can just mop them up <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
On one attack, I charged through - Killed two players, switched to gore, killed another player, hit devour and got a heavy armour, went back to charge and killed another light armour on my way out. It was almost as cool as when I saw an alien xenocide a whole team of marines. :D
Use it, get close, crouch and keep pressing forward

The best tip for onos-ing is...
When attacking with gore/charge/devour, imagine theres a crosshair in the middle of ur screen and aim your imaginary crosshair at the chest of the marine/base of structure.
Manythink charge/devour have an area of effect - they dont, and once u realise this u should hav 100% accuracy on devour and should be able to take out up to 6 marines with just 1 charge.
