BTW: I'm the 10th highest poster that's not a playtester or Mod, and the 20th highest poster overall....

Blegh. Looks like I've got some catching up to do.

In fact, I joined like the day after the 1.0 release. So there was quite a large amount of players who registered on the forums.

You nubikins and your sub-6000 post counts... if you've been here since the overmind.org forums (run on a german-made cgi forum system that no longer even exists), <b>then</b> you can talk. As far as I can tell, that's Nemesis, Freestyler, and a couple guys on the NS dev team.

Actually, there's also Hectate (third NS-'fan', original founder of #ns), Lord Booga (who is pretty big in Sven Coop), and Fluorescent Duck (who was our first spammer). I remember messaging Freestyler somewhen in August 2001: "The forums are going insane! Three new posts in a single day!"...

but... as for forums in general, i use my main computer for gaming and stuff...

and i have a laptop on an extension of my desk devoted entirely to realtime forumgoing.
