It's translated from the string of binary in this link <a href='http://marathon.bungie.org/story/_wheregiantshavefallen/pid1.html' target='_blank'>Here</a>
Click the eye and keep going till you find it I took out the letters. Don't bother trying to understand the rest unless your a Marathon addict and have Fully explored Pathways into Darkness

    Damn that is marathon'ish I'm betting you got that from the marathon story page correct?

    Anyway of the top of my head I can't figure it out, but I do know that Thorn has relivence to marathon (like Thor) maybe the A.I. in Marathon Infinity the one who was so light and dark and had to balance etc...
    Hoth was it?

    Or am I mistaken, it has been awhile... anyway thats my best guess other wise you programing nuts can have a look at it!

    that's all you need to know.. and it's his name... or that's what that page claims..

    I think it's the guy from marathon's name, which is now a number, since Durandal, Leela, and Tycho all "use" him.

    I preferred Durandal, but psychopaths who help you enough to keep you alive have always been my favorite. Can you translate that binary into a number, that's "his" number, I believe. I couldn't parse the digits, it didn't work in a 4 sequence, and you need 5 to do a proper "alphabet," or 8 to do the 256 char list.

    I posted in the wrong one...

    I've been thinking could it be mathematical? like the end result could be his number...

    that was my guess. It's bigger than 1.3.3.7, though <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Also if you look at it it's a pattern not random numbers. If it's not random it must mean something. The high ASCII symbols are weird but they must be there for a reason to. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    What about the magic number 7 that shows its face so much?

    It could definatly be a posiblity!

    From what I can see its a loop, but thats just looking at the funny signs... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
