Tutorial progress

Since word on the actual game is restricted, why not tell us a bit about how the tutorial is progressing.  No need to give away bits of the game that we don't already know.

    What do you mean what is being put in?  I assume the tutorial will show you how to use the commander mode and will show you all the guns.  On the alien side, it will tell you how to work their abilities.

    Just me guessing - but what else would it do?

    Tutorial is coming along, at least the architectural side of it is. The actual mechanics of the tutorial is Flayra's territory, and we all know how secretive he is. (Or busy, rather.)

    Looking good as always, merk!  Can't say that im a fan of the over scaled grating over the gold pipe, but never the less - very good!

    I think you should change the how the sides of the hall texuture come back to the room. The pipes don't match tot eh room sides texture. I'll update this when I can come up with the right words.  :|

    You're saying you want the textures to blend together naturally.

    And yeah, I'm sure Merk plans on doing that eventually. I'm sure that's just a rough draft type shot.

    Both anomolies have already been fixed.

    It wasn't the fact that the grating was overscaled that drew my attention, but rather that anyone trying to walk up that ramp in real life would find themselves slipping back downwards due to the direction of the bars.

    The wall is fixed, too - although it didn't look as bad in-game, because you could actually move around and see it in perspective. From the picture though, it looks like there's actually a different area to the left of the texture change.

    Very nice looking, Merk!  Wow, you guys have really gone all out on this.  I mean, your tutorial map looks far better than all of the maps on some mods put together.  Mucho kudos to you all <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->
