Does anyone know?
Ok... Ive done some tests with two of my clan mates on our server recently and found out that this:
http://www.nonoobs.com/damage.php
is 100% correct in every way...
Ok you might be reading this thinking "Yea we know you ****" but we found out was, bizare, to say the least..
It takes 72 bullets to kill an onos with level 0 carapace and with level 0 weapons.
It takes 36 bullets to kill a fade with the same...
I know what your thinking.... "Thats insane..... 2 guys shoot a slip into an onos and hes dead"
Well actually your right.... 2 guys firing your "crappy 0 level bullets LMG" and the onos is dead. I fired exactly 72 bullets at an onos standing still and it died straight away...
However... We got the onos to jump around whilst 2 of us shot at it and it took almost 3 times more bullets to kill than it should have, and we wernt even very far away.
Now after reading this your probably thinking "they must be crap shots" or... "yea well its moving, your bullets are missing...."
We all had under 40 ping and the onos wasnt even far away as I said.... Please some one tell me what happens to the bullets.... After we killed the onos I couldnt even see many holes in walls and on my screen I assure you 90% of the bullets I fired hit the model of the onos.... My clan mate feels the same way.
Is this lag? Is this dodgy hit boxes?
Please, I beg you, go test with a freind on an empty server and you will be asking the same question as me....
Thanks..
Smithy.

Have you ever ran past a doorway to a room that contained sentry
turrets? It doesn't matter if you're running sideways, backwards, leaping
or whatever you still get shot at least once in the side.
If the sentries can do surely the LMG/Pistol/etc can do it.
I have found myself knifing/shooting an onos point blank very often, and not hitting
