[unloads his HMG, crouches in his armor with relative ease as the weapon spits a hail of nickel and lead into the onos' side, then into the fades as they close the distance]
"I hope Spark and Shade have a plan, or else we're SOL with one rine wearing a bright yellow bullseye"
*ducks into a shallow maintenance trench, drops his hmg on the deck and reloads while unholstering his pistol*
[snap-aims his pistol and empties at one of the fades]
"Oh yeah, get some! Get some of this! Come on ****! eat lead you slimy mother****!"

The bullets fly. One of the fades is down and the onos seems to be hurting. The attempts to affect the hivemind haven't worked though, because they fight jsut as ferociously as they've always done.

*spams medpacks and ammo*

*still thinking it's alive, i whack it*
*its limp head snaps to the side and its slides off of me, leaving a green blood stain on me*
*takes an audiable breath*
"Oh. My. God. Eh...thanks guys-"
*gets cut off by the roar the onos*
*reloads*
*reaches into the ammo storgage unit of my armor and takes out a nade*
[slams the bottom into the side of wall and then rolls the theoretically primed grenade under the onos]
*scans area, looking for the other fade*
*while looking aroundm hears Ven's plea*
"Sorry man, but I don't think we're gonna. We don't know if thats you talking or if its the bacterium..."
*sees the other fade*
"Hey...guys...don't forget about the other one...it's trying to come up the rear!"
*crouches next to Ven*
*opens fire in 3-round bursts at the fade from 5-7 yards away*

"Do i guess corectly when i say you are hpoing to hoock ven's hive sight up to everybody's HUD?. i doubt it would work darkness, whatever you are planning to do. The hive sight goes into the brain and the HA doesnt have any probes. Besides, even if we did, we wouldnt know where to probe anyway. Its a nice idea, but i suggest you concentrate on the onos for now"

*reloads and fires at onos*
