god dang it, i just played a game and i have ONE thing to say....but i wont say because it isnt nice <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

anyway the reason we lost, was because of STUPID PEOPLE!

i cant TELL YOU how many times ive seen some idiot humping the armoury when a skulk is RIGHT NEXT TO HIM KILLING SOMETHING LIKE A PROTO LAB. but thats not all, i freaking YELL AT THAT MARINE TO KILL THE SKULK, and you know what he says? he says "wait im getting full ammo" BY THE TIME HE HAS FULL AMMO, THE SKULK TOOK OUT THE PROTO AND RAN AWAY. god damn, then as soon as the THAT MARINE steps outside, HE GETS KILLED BY AN OC...
WAS IT WORTH GETTING 250 BULLETS?!?! HUH YOU STUPID MORON?

But wait,theres more!
when i was a marine, the comm was SPAMMING SIEGE turrets at MARINE START,and when the onos came in, the comm says "OMG hes hacking! why isnt he dying? some1 ban him! the siege wont attack"
when i mean spam, im talkin about 15-20 of them, and we losst that game because of the massive res loss.

now, im only mad because there are SO MANY STUPID people playing on NS as marines nowadays. and another thing ive noticed is from the tooltips:

"New players should go to the marine team"

WHAT KIND OF freaking SUGESTION IS THAT?!?!?
IF THE PERSON IS NEW, WHY WOULD YOU WANT THEM ON THE MARINE TEAM (where teamwork is most crucial)?!?!?!
THEY ARE BETTER OFF IN THE ALIEN TEAM WHERE THEY CAN RAMBO AND WAUNDER OFF AS THEY PLEASE, BECAUSE ALIENS CAN STILL WIN THAT WAY.

Like ive read in another post, there REALLY SHOULD BE A WAY TO PUNISH STUPID PEOPLE. maybe admin SLAP them or sumthin.

COME ON! even n00bs arent too bad compared to a stupid person.

    Man i know your pain, i just got of a game, i was marine, we had good res, one hive, the double res. But the team kept staying in reactor room and spamming with HA/GL ! WTH stop camping and kill those aliens, we were like twice as powerful as them, but ppl kept hanging back.

    I suspect in 2-3 month when ppl learn to play or stop being stupid, well have to UNnerf the aliens because i feel the marines are WAAY more powerful, but they just play like dumba$$ !

    Another great marine tactic as of late: the double node!
    For some reason, IT HAS TO BE TAKEN, IT IS OF CRUCIAL IMPORTANCE.

    Can't tell you how many games I've jumped in on, where a comm will send the marines to the double node first thing in the game, only to have them picked off by aliens. So, what does he do? He tells the respawning marines to keep pushing for it, so they trickle in one by one and get eaten as they do.

    A bright person would say "hey, this isn't working, they're ready for us, lets do something else!" But no, the double node just HAS TO BE WON, that's what MAKES THE GAME. Despite the fact that its the place that you're most likely to ALWAYS FIND THE OPPOSING TEAM at the beginning of the game.

    So sick of nubtards its disgusting, GET OVER IT, its TWO NODES INSTEAD OF ONE! <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    i remember long back i had a com who really stretched us apart too far. it was dumb cuz it had me go alone to relocate our base at a hive, first thing. i ran into a wall of OCs and started trying to shoot them from around the corner till i got "wot are you standing there for?! get moving" i told him the way's blocked and he "FFS!!! JUMP OVER THEM!!" and started the delightful spam of demands as i stand there wondering why we listen to this loony. i eventully went for it and died before i even jumped. afterward being kindly rewarded with the message "FFS!!! U N00b"

    Want to really screw em? Go to their hive while they're out res capping, they come home to a turret farm and phase <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> (Doesn't always work but i've done it a few times. Mines helps.)

    Why not just cap every other res on the map while the alien team needs skulks to hold off a small team that keeps pushing for double?

    It's funny when you have a guy at an RT kinda guarding it, then you drop like a phase there. But. suddenly a skulk comes and hits him with parasite. The marine stupidly wanders off in pursuit of the skulk, only to be killed when he turns the corner. Thus, you lose an outpost because of one idiot that doesn't know when to build and when to kill ****. Woooo.....GG.

    People who don't build things that are right in front of them **** me off.

    There should be a plugin that auto-bans stupid people / EXTREMELY EXTREME noobs

    LOL Armory humping ... I've seen marines who get 250 extra lmg bullets and 30 extra pistol bullets and die before he gets to use half his current lmg clip (which means his 250 extra bullets and 30 extra pistol bullets didn't save his sorry noob **** from that skulk).

    A general rule of thumb to you noob/dumb people: Unless there is an emergency (like a massive attack on an outpost), don't carry anymore than 150 extra lmg bullets and 20 extra pistol bullets. Unless you just shoot at walls randomly, you CANNOT possibly use up all of your ammo before you die. If there's an emergency, stop humping the armory and LISTEN TO YOUR COMM ... don't get any ammo and use the phase gate to save that hive outpost or double res outpost ... again, you probably won't even use all of your 100 lmg bullets/20 pistol bullets before you die.

    I like adminmod servers. Whenever there's somebody I don't like, it's admin_kick_vote. Whether he's kicked or not, he usually shuts up and does what I tell him to.
