Problem With Ns Closing

<div class="IPBDescription">it wont close</div> when im done playing for 20 minutes i type exit in console and it exits the game but when i try to join another game it wont let me.... i realized that when i hit ctr-alt-dlt there are 2 hl processess running and when i end process the larger one 34,000 the game launches... this has been happening recently.... is there any way to fix this problem its annoying to hit ctrl-alt-dlt every time i want to join a server

when did that start happening and are you using hl or a retail mod?

If you are I suggest turning off Win98/Me compatibility
