I am 2 and a half hours from greenbay, 1 hour from madison...but my town is small and ****, no LAN center, and my basement area can host maybe 4 pc's tops....
lol, since we seem to be at an impasse, how about we switch the topic to a "Madison LAN"
Well, if we can manage to decide on a place to hold it, I have a 36 port (10baseT unfortunatly ) hub we can use....
yep, I got one of those too
If Bugler ever reads this crap, maybe we could throw together a Madison LAN in the first week of October?

I know many ArsClan members live in Wisconsin, I recommend posting on the forums www.arsclan.net
Just out of curiousity, to any of you that go to Madison, anyone know someone with Cechvala as their last name?

Though its not for a while, I thought this may be of interest to all you Wisconsinites.
I help run a bi-weekly lan party here in Green Bay called h4x0rlan. A few times a year, we hold a larger event called Kick It Lan. The next Kick It Lan has officially been announced. It is a 24 hour lan party in Green Bay at the KI Convention Center. Since I am staff, I will be sure NS gets played.
A few interesting points.

We are being sponsored by Razor 94.7, so we will have radio advertising to get the word out.
Gateway is donating the use of a huge plasma screen.
We will have digital projectors to play arcade games or watch movies.
We will have several dedicated game servers and file servers.
We will have several tournaments with prizes.
Plenty of door prizes and raffle prizes.
Past sponsors have included Thermaltake, Alienware, and Bawls.
NS is going to be played!
The date is going to be January 10-11, noon to noon. A full 24 hours of gaming.
Attendance at the last KI Lan was 50 people, we expect this one to be 75-100 people.
Games will include Counter-Strike, Natural-Selection, Ravenshield, Battlefield 1942 (and mods), Day of Defeat, Call of Duty, Warcraft 3 and more.
Our general website can be found here and the KI Lan specific site is right here.
I hope some forumites from Wisconsin are able to attend, it would be great to meet some of the community.

I have a four port router, run a nice small server on a regular basis - perhaps we can setup a Wisco-WAN..??
