Ns_shiva - My New Ns Map.

<div class="IPBDescription">Not even beta yet.</div> I have begun working on a map that I have chosen the name 'ns_shiva' for. I have no backstory yet, but I have thought about some underground spacestation at the planet shiva.
Enough about that, pictures:

I need help with the backstory, it has only got to have something to do with a underground spacestation at the planet shiva. I hope someone could help me(The story I choose(if there comes any), the writer will get his nick/name in the credits, for sure)

I've been working on a map called ns_shiva myself for a while. Not all that much is completed, but I have a conceptual backstory and some screenies floating around on the forums. If it doesn't change your concept too much, I'd appreciate it if you picked another name since it's kinda tied in with mine. I'd be glad to help brainstorm if you'd like.

maultano: I'm sorry about the name thingie, but when did you start working on your ns_shiva?
I'm asking becouse, you know, the one who started first should keep the name.
If you where first, do you have any name sugesstions? I really need a name for it that sounds serious.

And people: I once again say this; I need a backstory, the one with "How about an essiential communications station for the TSA to be the backstory?" could be used, but it needs some more work on it.
If you see this one cronos, I'd love it if you wrote something.

mm long time since i saw that wall texture in an NS map, so many images come back to me. ok, nice start. Lighting is a bit dark and bland, maybe increase bright.

blueman, I'm currently working on my lightning, I know that it is way too dark everywhere. Trying to fix it as good as possible, But it will take time.. Many compiles and so on.
And once again, I need a backstory thingie. Something that is on the planet shiva.(May have to change the name of the map <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'> )

I sorta figured that was the official way to reserve map names. Is the word shiva tied in directly in any way to your map, or could the planet be named anything really?

Xzilen: Go ahead, write if you want to. I'd live it if you did.

The name of the map will be changed to ns_shotaro.

Backstory, ns_shotaro:

Out in space, on the planet of Shotaro ther is an essential communications station:

27.08.xxxx:

New astronauts arrive to take over the shift for the other people there.

Commanders log:
Day 1:

We have been taken on a tour around in the station. Everything seems to be ok here.
Lunch was.. as a space lunch should be i think. We had, ehm.. Nevermind. Didn't love it.
I was taken to the control room so the astronauts, who are leaving tonight, could learn to
me how the computer system is set up, quite normal I think.

Day 2:

We have been watching the computers and all the other stuff all day, nothing coming in,
nothing going out... Strange. And another strange thing is that we can't find O'keefe, he
seems to have gotten lost or something, but we can't find him, oh, there he comes running.

Day 3:

We have been getting alerts, on my computer it looks like someone has broken in to Cargo,
but we can't find anything that seems like it. And O'keefe is gone again, hopefully he
knows the whole place by heart soon, but it is annoying that we have to send people to look
for him.

Day 4:

Another alert, just now, we don't know what it can be, but we are searching all the largest
sections now.

Afternoon log:
O'keefe has returned safely but he keeps telling me to check down in generator room, for
something long that looks like, I don't know actually, but he says that it ran fast. He
also says that he tried to shoot at it, but then it vanished he says.

Day 5:

Frontiers men arrived, we know there is some kind of thing going on here.

Day 6:

Alert! Blinking red on "Generator" 5 of the frontiersmen were sent to check it out, they
didn't come back....

Is this good enough?
Other people may change it and so on.

Hey Clash! We gotta start a clan if I can't get in to #gorgisarna @ quakenet.

News: I have edited my light and added some more details in the roof of marine start, the lightning is now as much light as in the hallways outside "The great viaduct" in ns_nothing, which is a good thing for me.
I will post all the new pictures of ns_shotaro when I have done the two ways to the next hive.
