We all anticipate the release of NS, but trust me. Nobody wants to release this more than Flayra. No abount of whining wil make this game come out faster.
Its.
Done.
Thats the easiest, best and most accurate answer anyone will ever be able to give you. Please, stop asking.

For example, Merkaba's training map needs to be finished and Flayra needs to do whatever coding he needs to do for that.
The manual needs to be written and the popup hints need to be fixed as well.
As far ask I know, they have yet to even test a 32 player game, so there could be quite a few issues in that regard as well.
But I did mention that stuff. I said and what not.
'and what not' is pretty vague, but to your own credit, I guess 'When its done' is too ..

Like I'm taunting you or something?
Listen here.
What happens if Flayra were to say, give a release date of Smotober 35, 1965.
Smotomber 35, 1965 rolls around and there is still quite a bit that needs to be added to the game. Such as gameplay, art, bug fixing, optimizing .. what ever.
What happens then? His e-mail explodes with 5000 e-mail of angry little people because he didnt release the mod when he said he would. Then, he may give in to the barrage of angry people (like they really have a reason to be angry anyway) and releases the mod in a very bad, unplayable state. He'd lose many potential players and NS would get a rather bad rap from players/reviews/what ever.
Or, what happens if he tries to rush through it because the date he said was approaching. Would you rather he make 'Quick Fixes' that made the game look horrible? Or perhaps had an adverse effect on the gameplay?
Saying 'When its done' releaves developers of the pressure to get it out of the door at that time. So they work at thier own pace, and get the code working the right way.
Even if he were to give an 'estimation' of lets say, 5 months - I'd bet none of you would take it as an estimation, but as an offical word the mod was going to be released then. 7 months roll around, then people start complaining it was supposed to be out 2 months ago .. blah blah blah.
Listen, the world is not out to get you .. ok?
Just chill, take a breather and go do something to occupy your time. Get into other games. You dont have to follow the mod 100% of the day.
My advise to you people, take a break from NS. Seriously, just put it out of your head for like - a month or what ever. When you come back, they'll be plenty of new suprises for you and perhaps a release. Its working with me for TF2, CoH and SW:G. I really am not following those games, at all. So, when the release finally comes out - I'll be suprised not only by the fact its out, but by the stuff thats included I didn't know was in it.
Alas, I fear most of this will fall on deaf ears though ...
