I am sure everyone has experienced this. You jump into a server as marine, overall good experience even though aliens are overtaking you, then.....they never end it.

I have been caught in this situation more than I would care to mention. A few days ago we (marines) had about 6 turrents in our base while we were constantly being hit by oni (plural for onos?), lerks (umbra), and gorges (bilebomb), but every time they could have killed us and ended the game...they retreated.

So now I pose this question. Is it a BAD thing to recycle the base and just end it? Do you all consider this to be a LAME thing to do, or the most humane thing to do when you know they are just prolonging the inevitable?? In one occasion I asked an admin who was on the server if I could recycle the base and he did it. Take in mind I am not saying do this in every occasion. I am just talking about when the alien team is toying with you and making what should be a 20 min game a 2 hr game..... opinions please?

By all means recycle. Or f4 as a group. I have a no patience for those who would "play with their food", if you will. It's very unsportsman-like and horribly selfish; since waiting for them to finish the game isn't exactly a lot of fun.

I signed onto server that had 4 onos on top of a IP devouring mariens for like 6 mintes. They had purpusely killed com chair so that mariens couldent recycle and get this, The admin was banning ppl for f4ing. A guy finely skulked IP only to be banned by admin. Server was lame and i will not play there again.
Although, he wasent there.
