I Hate 2.0

Before I start FLAME AWAY.
I used to love playing 1.04 probably because I mostly like playing marine but in 2.0 just ruined all the fun. You see as marines just securing 1 or 2 hives meant that you where winning now does;t mean ****. I mean with aliens evolving to onos at the 10 minute mark of the games WTH. And hey redemtion on an Onos might as well FORGET ever killing them things. I know I know ppl are going to just say **** like hey with a organized marines you can destroy every damn thing in your way but public servers are not clan servers so its probably not going to be too organzied. I don't play as much as I used to at least with 1.04 there was a chance of winning the game by securing the hives but that don't mean **** anymore. 10 minute mark onos come out game is over. I would like to see the limitation of evolving aliens based on hives like it used to be but don't think its going to happen. I'll see what the next patch does for the game but for now I'll just call the game oNoS 2.0.

    Hmm...welcome to the forums. I see your first post here was....yes, it was in a thread called "Impossible to win now," one of the earlier threads complaining that Marines were overpowered in 2.0's earlier days when people were still getting used to it. [edit]Correction, I'm looking at the date again and you posted it back in 1.04 days. Which seems odd, because now you're saying you actually want to go back to 1.04.     My suggestions?
    1. Don't ask people to flame you. They're ready to give you what you wish for, guaranteed.
    2. Understand that several common complaints are already being addressed. For example, the tentative changelog for the next official patch includes a change to redemption (upon redeeming, marine is left behind instead of getting taken with it)
    3. Please continue to enjoy using the forums, but try to present criticism in a more helpful manner. Out of your three posts, you've managed to tell us things you don't like; this third one is the first of yours that also has a suggestion on how to help the situation ("I would like to see the limitation of evolving aliens based on hives like it used to be"), but you already recognize that we're not going to go into the past and bring back all of the overdependence-on-hive issues we tried to move away from in 2.0.


    I'm pretty sure that covers it. Hmm...I see just as I was typing this, people have already taken heed to the first line of your post. Congrats, you got a little of what you wished for. You're not getting any more attention.<span style='color:orange'>*Locked*</span>
